𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝘄𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁.

InPhase was founded on 31st July 2014. Twelve years later, to the day, here’s what came back to us: one of the very first Active Harmonic Filter panels we ever built, commissioned at a textile mill in Tamil Nadu in April 2015 — back when we sold every prototype we built and couldn’t afford to keep one for ourselves.

It ran there without interruption for the next eleven years. Most active filters in this industry don’t last past two or three — InPhase filters are built to run for decades.

Earlier this month, during a routine annual maintenance visit, we offered the mill an upgrade. Their consultant — who had seen this panel running for years — told them to maintain it, not replace it. We had to make the upgrade genuinely worth their while before they agreed to let the old panel go. We took it back as a memento — the one we never got to keep in 2015.

One more thing worth telling: the technician who wired that panel back then is now our 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, running production across InPhase. The panel aged with the company. So did he — and he’s still with us.
